Pop Goes the Weasel
- 10 spreads
- About 2 min of song
- English · Español
All around the cobbler's bench, the monkey chased the weasel... and POP! Out of a boot, out of a hat, out of the basket of thread: where will the weasel pop up next? Crouch down low, wait for it, wait for it... and pop! Then it's the weasel's turn to chase, the cobbler joins in, and everybody pops together. The old song made for waiting and jumping. Find the little red spool on every page.

Listen, move, and join in with a sound.
The child: Listens, moves, claps or taps, and joins in with a sound, a word or a sign when the song stops for them.
The grown-up: Sings most of it. Pauses before the word that comes back so the child can fill it in, any way they can.
